Just plain weirdness..........

Just to brief you---this is not my eye or my eyebrows! It's one I found on the internet but it's similar to my problem (but mine is not red like this).

So a couple weeks ago, I noticed a weird eyelash. Instead of growing up and out, it had grown down and into my eyelid. And worst of all a little piece of skin had grown over it. Seriously, it happened in a day. All of the sudden it was just there. I tried plucking at it, but OH MY GOSH it hurt!!!!!!!!! That is a sensitive area. So then I took some of my facial scrub and rubbed it into my eyelid as hard and I could handle--hoping to get the top layer of skin to fall off. It didn't. So I just thought I'd wait it out until the top layer of skin fell off itself.

Well, then Saturday morning rolled around and I went to my mom's house. I wasn't wearing any makeup so my mom noticed the weirdness for the first time. I told her my own diagnosis was an INGROWN EYELASH. She stared at it and said, "That skin is SO thin, I'm sure if you pick at it with a needle it will come right up. So we tired it. No, it DID NOT come right up and it hurt like no other!

Since then I have ignored it for another couple weeks. But today I got curious and Googled it. Apparently this is not gonna heal itself and this may cost me up to $400. Mega annoyed am I. So I called the dermatologist (I don't have an eye doctor, but I figured the dermo could probably handle this, its skin right?) and asked, "Since it doesn't really bother me should I just wait for my regular appointment on June 1st or should I come in sooner?" She said, it probably won't get worse, but there is a slight chance it could get infected. So I moved it up--I'm going in two weeks. I'll let you know how it goes. If this costs me $400 or makes all my eyelashes fall out--I will scream!!!!!

My name is Brittani and I'm a bin-aholic.

Believe it or not, this isn't even half of them. I have them in every closet of my house--plus I didn't take any pictures of my actual storage unit. At like $12 a pop, that's a big investment in bins. I bet Bed Bath and Beyond is glad to have me as a customer. (Although, I do take full advantage of their coupon system).
But there is a few positives from my storage bin madness (1) I can find anything in my whole house in 4.62 seconds (2) I have expanded our storage space tenfold and (3) When we're ready to move......we've already packed!
