Widows Weekend a.k.a. opening of the bow hunt

LAST WEEK...

gRaMps turned 79!!

He wanted to "Go Outback Tonight"

And so we went with the fam.

biRtHdaY bOY!

Then we went to gRaNd JuNcTion

for a Newbold (Andrew's mom's fam)

family reunion.

Andrew and I both hate to drive,

we like to fLY!

But we are poor, so we drove.

And we were pretty sick of the car

by the time we go there...as you can see

But the reunion turned out pretty FuN!

And I won a new Scentsy burner and some scents!!!!!

(actually I didn't win, but Amelia did

and she knew I wanted it so she shared)

On Sunday, Gerald and Raquel invited us

to take the DeTouR home...

And go to ARchEs.

Neither of us had ever been

And we're gamers

So we went.

Ballantyne Family Campout

This is a tradition that goes back as far as I can remember.

Every summer all my dad's siblings and their families go camping for a week.

We always have a blast and never get bored.

I love being so close to my extended family members.

They are my very best friends.

This year we:

Took turns holding Jersey

Had our traditional clay pigeon shootout.



The boys get really into the shoot outs.

Brad and Whitney rolled their 4-wheeler one night and had to go down to the emergency room. When they pulled back into camp Whitney had gone into complete shock and Brad was bleeding all over himself and the 4-wheeler. Brad ended up getting a few stiches in his leg and they were both really bruised and sore but they were very lucky. This is Brad modeling his cast.

The girls did some crafts.

This is Brylee my cousin. She's probably the cutest little girl I've ever seen. We all fought for her attention this week.

The boys also did a bunch of fishing. I didn't go this time. I slept in instead. :)

I also did Nu Skin galvanic spa facials on all the women one day. I was giving facials for 4 hours straight. My back was pretty sore by the end, but it was worth it. They all loved it.

I love my family and our crazy campouts.
