{specifics}

Wow!!
Thanks for the comments and support!
We are SOOO excited to be having a baby
and we love that others are excited too.

Here are the specifics...
for those that care.

I'm 12 weeks
Due: Friday the 13th of May, should we be suspicious??
We got pregnant our first round of clomid.
Which we feel very lucky about
Clomid made me really sick.

And, so does pregnancy!!
I've been darn sick.
Throwing up
Nauseous 24/7
Very tired
The whole caboodle.

Zofran is my friend.
I'm so sick on the pill
I can't imagine what it would be like without it.

My mom is great to remind me
that this is what we've been praying for!
And it truely is.

We are only having ONE baby.
We had a little scare that there might be two in there.
Because
  1. I measured a little big the first time he checked me down there
  2. There are twins in my family
  3. I had been on fertility drugs
So, the dr recommended we have an ultrasound
to "rule out twins"

And....
there is only one in there.

He also checked me out on the ultra sound.
Everything looks good.
I do have a cyst on my right ovary though.
Which he is said he likes to see,
because it gives me lots of extra progesterone.
BUT, makes me more sick.
It's the type of cyst
that usually disappears by 20 weeks.
Hopefully, that happens.
If it sticks around longer and gets big
it could be painful
And lastly,
I don't have any intuitions on the sex of the baby.
I've always kinda thought I was a boy mom
So if I had to guess I'd say boy.
But not because of mother's intuition.
Just a pure guess.
But my family only makes girls.
So we will see.

It's fun to hear the specifics :) Good luck with the nausea; Zofran was my friend too.

I'm so excited that clomid worked the first round! Hopefully you will start feeling better soon. I started feeling better around 16 weeks. Yay for babies!!!

Congrats again! I like to know how you're doing. Glad things are looking good and I'm glad that you're on Zofran. That pill seemed to save my life, even though I still felt sick. But better than before. It seems to have helped me feel relatively "normal" by the middle of the second trimester, so hopefully that'll be the case for you too. But it took several more weeks into the second trimester to get feeling that way, so don't be discouraged if you don't magically feel better right away :) But you're right, babies are totally worth it, even the being sick all of the time. Take care of yourself and get as much sleep as possible! That seemed to be my only escape from that sick feeling :) Thanks again for updating everyone!

P.S. even if your baby DOES come on his/her due date, I think the 13th isn't anything to be suspicious of. I've always had good luck on those days :)

Congratulations to you both! Babies are the best. And you two will make awesome parents. Once you actually have that sweet little baby you'll forget all about that pesky morning sickness.
Good luck with everything. Keep the updates coming. :)

I guess I missed the picture post. I'm so happy for you. You are super lucky you got pregnant with the first round of clomid. It took me 3... and I was a total BEAST that 3rd month. HAHAHA I am terrified to take it again now that I actually have a kid! Yeeesh!

Super sick? I say girl. But... ya never know! hehe

Well congratulations! Sorry to crash your blog, but I totally stumbled upon it somehow via Facebook! My name is Matt Finch (Elder Finch to Andrew) He was my first missionary companion in the Provo MTC, and roommate during our stay at the Peruvian MTC, though we went to different missions in Bolivia. If you don't mind I would love to add you to my wife and I's blog so I can keep in touch. I no longer have the email account that had Andrew's email account saved, so I have had no way of keeping in touch, though I have wanted to for a while. I have been curious how the hunting in Utah has been! (If that is where you are!) Anyways, we just went private with our blog, but if you want you can go to mattnliz.blogspot.com and leave us your email address so that we can give you "permission" to see our new blog at mattandlizz.blogspot.com (that way you can see some REAL elk and deer from AZ! J/K) Nice bull by the way, I went back in your blog and saw it! Anyways, I am sure glad to see you are doing so well Andrew, and I would love to hear from you!
