I've been hesitant to put one of these up for two reasons.
First, I hear that it can make the pregnancy drag....especially when you're getting close but not there yet (like day 50-60). So hopefully this doesn't happen. If it just randomly disappears one day... you'll know why.
Second, I'm pretty positive that this baby will be late and my sister, Lindsay, says that's it's pretty depressing when you countdown gets to zero and then you STILL haven't had the baby yet. So maybe I should set it for a week after my due date.....huh
Why this baby will probably be late:
It's in my genes to go really over due with your baby. Get this....
I was supposed to be born January 19th.....I was born February 1st. I can't imagine thinking you are going to have a January baby and February comes and you're still pregnant.
My sister Lindsay was supposed to be born June 1st and was induced and and born June 9th.
My sister Brooke was supposed to be born July 15th and was born July 30th. Yes, 15 days!!!!
Luckily, they only let you go about a week over nowadays. So I'm sure I'll be like Lindsay...the ticker will hit zero and then a week later the baby will finally come.
My in-laws thought I would have the baby a little early so they booked a trip three days AFTER my due date. When Andrew told his mom that our family history says otherwise, she was all worried because now she thinks she's going to miss it all.
But we've waited 5 and 1/2 years for this girly so we'll take her whenever she decides to come.

I have a couple of things that I want to make for you and this baby. Is there any color that you want to stay clear of or ones that you love.
I hoping for your sake that she comes early or at least by her due date!
oh i will pray for you that your baby comes a tiny early...that's always a nice surprise. just fyi...i was supposed to be born jan. 23rd and didn't come until feb. 16th! whaaaaaat?!! can you imagine being pregnant for an extra month! kill yourself.
I'm so behind on blogs - CONGRATS on your pregnancy! Our due dates are really close, and we're having a girl too! Super fun! We're so happy for you guys. And... I agree with the pregnancy ticker. I'm still trying to decide if I dare put one up!
Yes sometimes tickers are hard to look at, other times exciting, right? Any ways, you really are getting closer (but of course it always goes by fast for everyone else)! Hope you are doing well!

Ahhh! I CAN'T imagine going past my due dates! I have HUGE babies. I don't go into labor myself, so I've been induced w all 3 of mine a few days to a week before my due date. How exciting for you guys! :]
Hey just fell onto your blog-I went to High School with Andrew. Congrats on the soon to come baby girl! Just wanted to say we are at school in Med School in Las Vegas/Henderson and have a lot of friends in the PA program here at Touro University and they LOVE it!!! This is seriously the best place we could have come!
