A few words about clomid
• thankful
• hopeful
• no side effects, at first
then
• fatigue
• more fatigue
• headaches
• body aches
• hot flashes
• cramps
• nausea
Lindsay summed it up well when she said, so basically you feel like you're pregnant--but you're not.
On top of it all, I've had this werid summer cold for the past 10 days or so. Which I've refused to take cold medicine for because I'm dealing with enough side effects. I don't need more drugs in me. Andrew swears the cold is actually more clomid side effects because usually when I have a cold I give it to him--and he's felt nothing.
Consequently, I have hardly got anything accomplished the last few weeks. I have a lot of great intentions for my school-free life. :) But I have no energy to do them. I believe that everything happens when it's supposed to happen. It's not our plan or time frame...as much as we'd like it to be right? So I guess maybe this is another reason why we've had to try so long for a baby--so my life is a little less busy and I can be lazy everyday after work. Really---by 2 PM everyday I'm pooped. Ready to go home and sleep.

Just give in and go sleep at 2 :)
my mom had to take that. she said she was a B on it. not my words... hers :) Good luck!! i hope it works.
I am going to comment again. HAHA I know I'm so random. I took clomid... 3 months and finally the 3rd month worked. I don't ovulate on my own so my eggs drop at random times and I've had 2 miscarriages that I had no idea I was even pregnant and was not anywhere close to ovulating. I'm totally screwed up. I was a huge bag on clomid and I'm dreading that I will probably have to take it again. But, it did work for me.
Can I also suggest getting a fertility monitor? They are a little costly but they totally work. I use the ClearBlue one. Totally worth it especially when you have to take clomid! :) Just a suggestion. hehe Good luck... those hot flashes are horrid!
Oh, this brings back bad memories. I was miserable on Clomid. I took it for many, many months. Blech. With our first, I was on it 5 months, and felt more pregnant on it than when I was finally pregnant. Hang in there!
I'm so sorry! Seriously! It is NO fun being sick because of a pill.
I really hope that this works for you and that you will be supported during this trial of being sick. Seriously sleep is usually the only real escape from the nausea. I wish you teh best!
I'm sorry Britt...a cold and all those other side effects don't sound fun at all, and I'm sure you're frustrated because it has yet to work. Tyler's sister-in-law was on it for a long time...and the second she quit taking it and gave up she finally got pregnant, it really does go to show that its all in the Lord's hands. But so frustrating for you. Love you Britt!
I wish I could help you! I am so sorry. We love you both very much and we know that when it happens you will be fantastic parents! It is amazing what we go through for our kids :)
