Wow, I really need to blog more.
Stella turned 8 months old on Monday.
Here's some new things she's up to lately....
She often puts her finger in her mouth
She doesn't really suck it
It's just more of a thinking pose.
We got rid of the baby tub
(a long time ago--can't remember when)
Stella likes her baths and her bath toys
Stella is going to start walking any day now.
She has taken one step on her own several times
But I don't think it counts until you do several consecutive steps.
I actually thought she was gonna start walking this weekend
Because Andrew and I left her for the first time
and I was sure
she was was gonna walk and we'd miss it.
But she didn't.
She's a tad timid about walking--
which is a completely new thing for us
up until this Stella has had NO hesitancy.
She is still super tiny
(10 to 25 percentile in everything)
And her feet are tiny too
even though the angle of the pic makes them look huge
She still wears 3-6 month old clothes...
Andrew says Stella is a mommy's girl
But she says dada about 100 times more than mama each day
She also says:
baba
hi
and I swear she said Gama to my mom yesterday
These pictures were taken on her actual 8 month birthday
When she wears her hair in a pony she looks so old. :(

8 months! No way!! I can't believe it! She is so cute and I miss seeing you guys around. I hope you are doing well. Loved the Christmas card. Thanks for thinking of us. I was a slacker this year, well, at everything lately!! Hope all is well. Stella's SO darling. Good luck with the walking!!
I can't believe she's about to walk! My new baby is already wearing three month clothes haha your petite little miss is so adorable as always :)

She's so darn cute and changing so fast, I couldn't believe all the changes in her from when we saw her around Christmas to when we saw her last weekend. I thought she looked soo grown up then, but now even more so!
Oh my heck. I hate how fast they grow! She is soo CUTE!
In answer to your blog question, dairy can make babies colicky while nursing so I try to avoid milk, ice cream, cheese, yogurt etc. I was very strict when I had Lily; I would even order pizza without cheese! This time around I'm not very good at not eating dairy (hence the reason my sister mocked me for eating Dippin Dots haha).
