Quesiton.

Can a 12 month old understand what "no" means?
Because my daughter thinks it means:
go faster
make more noise
go farther into the street
shove more into your mouth
stick your fingers farther in the socket
dump more out
rip into more pieces
suck on the cord more
eat more dirt
pull more things off the shelves
throw more into the garbage
and most of all she thinks "no" means
keep doing it, laugh, and run

I try not to be nagging.
So I mix it up with
no
stop
quit
hey, hey, hey
shakin the head
clap of the hands
snap of the fingers
AHH!!!!

But none of them seem to work.
Sometimes I ask myself the question
maybe she just doesn't understand what I'm saying
but she does
She's just a stinker like that.
She has so much personality.
It's so funny and cute and also
so very frustrating at times.

i'm pretty sure she's just as headstrong as her mom! hahaha

in other news, apparently there's a Student Gov. Retirement Party for mrs. Sheen Fri, Aug 3rd at 6 @ the Toon's house. just fyi. didn't see you on the invite list.

And i don't think I'm going. I'm still trying to recover from that year....hahaha

She totally does, I think she is to young for time out but you are just going to have to stay on it but I don't laugh or smile or tell her she is a stinker in a nice voice, because then she is going to think she can keep doing it even if you are telling her no.

Good luck it only gets better.
