This post is picture less. But if you hang in there and read it anyway you might smile First sign that Tuesday was going south was at about 8 pm when I looked down and realized that I had been wearing one navy and one black flip flop ALL day long. Nice. Love when I do that.
Hang in there, the story gets better. Just before 9 pm I was standing out in the street next to my car with my visiting teaching companion just catching up a little bit. While she was telling me a story about her family I started to feel really dizzy. Trying not to be rude, I just leaned against my car a bit and hoped it would get better. Well, it didn't. Very quickly I got worse. Much worse.
I was so dizzy and lightheaded I couldn't stand anymore so I interrupted her and said, "I'm sorry but I have to sit down. I don't feel well." So I turned to my car and tried to stick my key into the lock and I remember hearing her saying something like "I think you need to give me that key." And that was the last thing I remember. I passed out. My visiting teaching companion tells me this is how it went down.
My head started wobbling and she knew I was going to faint. I bumped my head into my car then fell over backwards. She managed to catch me and lay me down in the road. LUCKILY, she did not panic and call for help because then it would have been just that much more embarrassing. She could tell I was breathing so she just lifted my feet up and tried to get my attention by calling my name.
After a minute I woke up...lying in the middle of the street with my companion leaning over me. I had to ask her what happened. I was laughing so hard and also thinking wow this is embarrassing! Even though I still felt sick I felt so dumb to be lying in the middle of the road that I lied and said I felt better and I was going to get up. She told me I was pale as a ghost and that I should definitely not stand up. I gave into the embarrassment and laid in the street for another 5 minutes until I felt good enough to sit up in my car. Then I was in a cold sweat and had to blow the air on me full blast and sit there for a half hour until I felt well enough to drive home.
When I got home it was after 10 pm and Andrew was asking why I hadn't been answering his texts. Well honey, I've been having a bit of an ordeal. All in all, I was actually really glad that my VT companion was there to catch me so I didn't smack my head on the cement and I'm glad I didn't try and get into my car and drive. But man, it was funny. I've decided I pass out way more than the average person...

you know, they used to say feeling light headed and fainting out was the first sign of pregnancy...

It's a good thing your companion was there! I passed out once during morning family prayer haha but I always feel light headed...and no I'm not pregnant :)
I have to be honest...I am laughing so hard right now Zander is staring at me. That's just what I needed today. I do feel bad you fainted and hit your head, and that you were really embarrassed...but that was hilarious! I can always count on you for a good story:) we had fun with Andrew and Stella at the zoo, but sure missed you
