The other day I was loading Stella and all our gear into the car when I noticed a wiener dog in the driveway. I had to run back in the house again for something and when I came out I checked behind the car for the dog and didn't see anything. So I backed out, slowly, just in case he ran out from somewhere. Then I closed the garage and left for the day.
Eight hours later I returned home and I pulled into the driveway and opened the garage door. As soon as the garage started to go up the wiener dog comes bursting out of the garage running for his life shouting "Freedom!" I laughed really hard. I have no idea whose dog it is. So I just let it go. He probably ran straight home and hasn't left since because he had to spend the whole day without food or water in my hot garage. I am glad that I didn't find a dead dog though, really. And if you're feeling bad for the dog you should feel bad for me too. Because he left me a few surprises in the garage to show his appreciation.
