Our Baby Girl is 16 months now
(going on 3 years)
Here is an update that will probably bore anyone but grandparents.
Stella has SO much personality!
High highs and low lows.
Stella is still super small.
The most she's ever weighed on my scale is 20.0 lbs
that's fully clothed with a wet diaper on.
Stella talks a lot.
Far too much to write on this blog.
We talk about everything and pretty much everyone.
She says small phrases like
"What happened"
"I wanna go see (blank)"
and "I love you too"
Everyday she surprises me with new words/phrases and some are so dang cute!
But her favorite word is still NO!
love this stage
When I count to 10 with her
she knows 2,6,8 and 10.
She also knows A,B,C,D,E
She LOVES animals.
These pics were taken by my uncle Bob's dog kennel.
His dog is named Riz.
Stella loves her and talks about her all the time.
But her favorite animal is the elk.
She bugles.
It's cute...and it makes Andrew so proud.
But a close second is kitties.
Can't get enough of them.
She knows what noises all the animals make
plus the indian (ah ya ya ya ya)
the cowboy (yee-haw)
and Tarzan (ah ah ah with banging on the chest).
She still has a binky at night/nap time and sometimes in the car
(for my sanity)
She loves it!
We will be parting with it very soon but it will be rough.
Stella is a climber and is almost always getting into mischief.
I can't take my eye off her.
When I do. I pay for it.
Stella loves kids and wants to go run off and play with them.
She is not entertained by anything for very long.
So we switch it up a lot.
Stellas hair is curly.
When its brushed straight it hits her back.
But it curls up much shorter.
I've been cutting it until it grew in even
But now it's pretty darn even so we're gonna let it grow, grow, grow now.
To my dismay, Stella has fallen in love with Elmo.
I wish is were some Disney character.
But for now, it's Elmo.
At night and nap time Stella loves to cuddle.
It's the best!
Not sure why we got so lucky.
But we love this girl!!

She is so stinkin cute. Can't believe she is so tiny. I wish I didn't give up T's passy till he was 2. I heard it don't hurt them at that age. i miss him with it. It was the only baby thing he had left. I say keep it ;) she is a doll.
CUUUUUUTE kid you got there. the paci fairy is a big hit, you have her stick the paci's in a gift bag and stick it out on the door step or wherever. tell her the fairy takes the paci's to babies who need them and brings her a big girl surprise instead. and then she sticks it out, goes to bed, wakes up and finds the surprise.
we just got rid of the paci's and bottles at the same time. like a band-aid. do it! des was 18 months and they were gone. a few rough nights of going to sleep but after that its all good. i'm pretty sure its a bigger issue with the parents than it is with the kids. no more plug!
You know she belongs to a hunting family when her favorite animal is an elk :) Love her! She is so cute!
I love that she bugles haha she is so darling :) love all the pictures.
I laugh that my ten month old already weighs more than her too hehe
She has grown so much, we can hardly wait to see her in person. She must be studying some interesting animals, such pensive, searching looks on her face. We would love to know the secret thoughts of our little ones. We love you.
I am not at all surprised that she is talking that much! She is so dang smart! And too cute!
I have been wondering how long to keep the plug around too. I have been trying to just use it "as needed" but I think around 18 months I am going to take it away...maybe?! She loves it and I love it. Win win!
